My wife needs help with VMS 5.3 "connect to interrupt" system call from
Vax Fortran. Please reply to her or this news group I am just helping
her post this message.
She is attempting to perform a connect to interrupt using the
IO$_CONINTWRITE function of the SYS$QIO system service. The calling
routine is in FORTRAN, the start and stop IO routines are in MACRO. The
system crashes with the error "Pagefualt with IPL too high".
She thinks the problem is in passing the parameters P1,P2&P3,
which are defined in the MACRO routine. The problem may arise from
incorrectly aquiring the address of these parameters from the MACRO routine.
She also may not have the right number of pages specified bye the
REALTIME-ST utility. There are 2 pages allocated. The buffer
containing the assembly routine is apprx. 100 bytes.
