[comp.os.vms] HSC s/w V4.0 buggy?

brent@uwovax.uwo.ca (Brent Sterner) (09/26/90)

   Hello world,
Our site just received the latest release of the HSC software, version
4.0. Our CE has recommended that we *not* install it because it's buggy.
(No problem from my perspective; the current HSC s/w is just fine for our
site.) Would anyone out there like to comment on the above? Anyone have
4.0 installed? b.

Apologies. It has been pointed out to me that I should have
mentioned v4.0 is for HSC50's only. You guys with 40's and 70's
are on a different part of the s/w tree now (v5.?). Cheers, b.

We've had in installed on our HSC50s for a little more than a week now and
haven't seen a problem.
