Dear Netlanders: I am currently evaluating DECwrite/VMS as a possible purchase for our department. Many users here have ULTRIX workstations and would like to use DECwrite in either VMS or ULTRIX. I was thinking of putting DECwrite on our main CPU (an 8650) and have users log onto that machine in order to use it. I have tried to have them log onto VMS via an ULTRIX DECterm and DLOGIN. Then they do a SET DISPLAY to pipe the DECwrite/VMS output back to their ULTRIX workstation. Everything works well except for the Equation Editor. The DEC people tell me the Equation Editor fonts need to be local on ULTRIX. But thus far, no one at DEC has told me how to get these fonts, short of ordering DECwrite/ULTRIX. Does anyone out there in Netland know how to get the DECwrite Equation Editor fonts for ULTRIX, and how much they cost? Thanks in advance, Tom Wallis PS. Please EMAIL since NEWS here has a very short expiration time. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thomas Wallis BITNET: WALLIS@TWSUVAX System Manager, Computer Science Dept.
