[comp.os.vms] DEC LANworks: can't see any services across a Fastpath

A few days ago I posted the following:

>We have just installed the release version of LANworks for the Macintosh (v1.0)

>Symptoms:

>Kbox is running Kstar 8.0 and has Phase 2 and DECnet support turned on.
>Mac is an SE running system 6.0.4.

>DECnet services from our VAX 6420 running LANworks are visible. ie netcopy
>works as does our field test version of the All-in-1 Mail software.

>but .... I *can't* see the VAXshare server. I can see all the zones, (We have

As a followup a couple of other pointers have come to light.

Every mac that I've tested (and it includes SE, II, IIx & IIfx) cannot see
*any* service registered by DEC LANworks from the localtalk side of a FastPath
even though it has Phase 2 routing turned on. This includes the VAXshare
server mentioned before, but also includes printer queues set up on the VAX
using LANworks and the new Appletalk-DECnet bridge (DECnet "tunnelling"). All
are visible as stated before from a direct ethernet connected mac.

No options for Kstar are turned on. What am I missing ???
