Greetings, I'm opening a VMS Session Manager on my Ultrix DecStation over Decnet using a command procedure posted here recently... It basically does a run/detached loginout /input=commandfile.com /out=logfile, where the commandfile does a set display, and does an @sys$manager:decw$startsm.com (more specifics on request) Anyway... the problem is this: (decw$startsm.com may not be exactly the right filename...) I can't save my customizations... And it doesn't utilize the decw$sm_*.dat files that are already in my sys$login. The error returned is: "error writing resource file". Does anyone know how I can start the VMS session manager on my Ultrix workstation, and still utilize my session manager customizations? It's as if it doesn't know where my customization file resides... Any pointers would be appreciated. I'll be happy to summarize if there is interest. Greg -------- Gregory R.
