[comp.os.vms] sample postscript files ready for ftp

Hi,

A few days ago, I announced a plotting program that I have been
developing in my spare time. I have received numerous requests from people
asking to see the sample postscript output. Although the program itself is
not available for FTP, I have arranged ftp access for a sample postscript file
produced by the program.

To see this file, you will need to ftp to `pacific.mps.ohio-state.edu' and
login as `anonymous'. Then `cd' to the `tmp' directory. In this directory,
you will find 3 files:

       sample.ps
       sample.plt
       fig33.dat

The postscript output of the program is in the file sample.ps. The command
file sample.plt was used to give plotting commands to the program. I created
most of this file with an editor, but I used the interactive feature of the
program to place the three labels you find find on the first graph. Although
I used 4 data files in this sample, I have only put `fig33.dat' in the ftp
directory. This files consists of some comments and 7 columns of numbers---
all 7 were used by the program.

Hopefully this weekend I will have time to put the program sources up for ftp
but I want to write some short piece of documentation first.
