This version of Kermit gives the user the ability to use longer packet lengths (for better transferring across clean lines) as well as sliding windows (for even better efficiency). The program compiled, using the supplied DCL command procedures, on my VMS system with almost no problems (one warning from the C compiler which could be, and was, ignored). It transferred files quite well using a 2K packet size, but I could not get the sliding windows to work between this and my MS-Kermit for my PC. Nonetheless, it did get the job done. No documentation, per se, is provided, but C-Kermit uses the TOPS-20 style of command parsing so you can press '?' at any point to see what C-Kermit is expecting at that point in the command line.
