Uucp has been a way for systems to call up one another and pass mail or news from one site to the next mostly at night when phone charges are lowest. This is a store and forward mailing system. DECUS uucp is easy to install although you may have to adjust some of the site specific items such as dial or login scripts. Most of the changes to DECUS uucp are just bug fixes. A few new features such as a true uucp command and checks to see if the system you are sending a message to actually exists are implemented. Those running DECUS uucp 1.1 or 1.2x should have no problem installing this release.
