It does not purport to read binary data. OBSERVATIONS: For individuals who have data on tape in HP3000 backup format, this is an eminently useful tool. However, we don't have any HP3000's and can not verify the functionality. The FORTRAN code looks clean and well-structured, so I would expect it to work as advertised.
