[comp.os.vms] DECUS Library CDROMs for non-U.S.

nieland_t@kahuna.asd-yf.wpafb.af.mil (05/23/91)

It has come to the attention of the DECUS Library that many people outside
of the United States have the understanding that the DECUS CDROMs are not
to be sent outside the U.S. This is not entirely correct.

Several of the early CDROMs created by the Library have programs that are
of a nature restricted by the U.S. Government. These CDROMs cannot be sent
out of the U.S. at all. However, the Library, upon finding this out, has been
making sure all future CDROMs can be distributed outside the United States.
The CDROMs 6 and on can be obtained outside the U.S. through the DECUS
Chapters.

I have attached the abstracts for CDROMS 6, 7, and 8.

To place a Library order, for U.S. members, send to

What may be causing some confusion is the fact that the DECUS symposium
registration people will not sell CDroms to non-Americans when they
register. It was possible however to buy the CDroms at the library
booth on site regardless of who you are. I tried to find out why this
is at the Atlanta symposium, but no-one could tell me (not even the
people at the library booth).
