I would like to know SPECIFICALLY what parts are used in the UNIX-PC 7300 -> 3b1 conversion kit, as sold by ATT. I haven't had much luck finding out so far. I'd like to know what's involved, what's changed, why the darn thing costs so much (kind of expensive for a 67meg HD and a plastic cover). I. E., does 67meg a 3b1 make? Secondly, I have received a disk with APL on it in a tar file (Thanks again, Scott!!), and, since outgoing mail seems to be hosed on this machine, I'm posting the question -- is it possible to convert a tar file from floppy, and if so, how? I've failed miserably using the manual page for tar as a guide. G. Mark (not-waitin'-for-APL-anymore) Stewart ATT-BTL Naperville, ix1g266 ixlpq!gms (312)979-0914
