It is my sad duty to report that Ken Brassler (maxepr!ken), one
of the more active and helpful contributors to this newsgroup,
died of a heart attack on August 20, 1988.
Ken's family noticed a mailbox file on his machine full of messages
from people wondering about Ken's whereabouts. Ken's sister asked
me to post this announcement to inform his network acquaintances.
Although we lived 3,000 miles apart, and only met once, Ken was one
of my best friends. He exhibited an uncommon mixture of warmth,
helpfulness, good nature, and intelligence; and for as long as
those of us who knew him are still here, he will be remembered and
missed.
