I'm going to the Fall COMDEX next week Nov. 15-18th in Las Vegas, NV. I was wondering if anyone from the unix-pc "net" is going to be there as well? Maybe we all can meet together at some time?! If you are going... and care to get together... Email me before Nov 14th. -Lenny -- Lenny Tropiano ICUS Software Systems [w] +1 (516) 582-5525 lenny@icus.islp.ny.us Telex; 154232428 ICUS [h] +1 (516) 968-8576 {talcott, decuac, boulder, hombre, pacbell, sbcs}!icus!lenny attmail!icus!lenny ICUS Software Systems -- PO Box 1; Islip Terrace, NY 11752

How are you managing this -- I thought there was no MMU on the Amiga. Have you got some kind of daughterboard with an MMU? 68030 add-on? Do tell -- if your lips are not sealed. Re: Jim Rosenberg's question re: UNIX on the Amiga .. The AMIX requires the A2620 CPU card containing a 68020/68881/68851; the 68851 is an MMU. (AMIX (correct name?) is the Amiga UNIX SyVR2) The Amiga supports 68000, 68010, 68020 and 68030 CPUs, along with 68881 and 68882 math coprocessors. I've had a 68020/68881 in one of my Amigas since early 1986, and I'm now operating another one with a 68030 (Ronin Hurricane). These are with 32-bit wide RAM cards; quite fast! :-) The CBM A2620 card also comes with up to 4MB 32-bit wide RAM onboard (2MB default). By "the Amiga supports 68000,...,68030), I meant direct and correct support, and has for over 2-1/2 years now. I have 3 Amigas (one 68010, one 68020, one 68030) and 4 UNIXpcs; the two systems complement each other nicely (and are so similar in so many ways it's almost scary).
