Does anybody in net.dcom have a interface specification for a Bell 801 acu ? I am interested in characters other than digits given to the 801 to have it "wait for secondary dial tone" etc. Ludo J. M. It was separate from the RS-232C i/f for the modem and went on the line side of the modem. The DEC DN11 i/f was used for ACU duty. If you can find an old DEC communications handbook from the mid-70s or write to the EIA you should be able to get a copy. Joseph L.
