Greetings out there in Net-land! I am in search of 2 things. the first of which is the source for C-Kermit 4E. I have looked through comp.sources,etc. and no luck. The other thing i am trying to accomplish is using some protocol program from async_main (AT&T ATE) other than umodem. specifically rz, etc. I was sort of hoping i could do this without having to disassemble async_main and patch it. especially since my forte is C, not 68k assembler. Reference using AT&T's ATE and an external file transfer protocol... Have you heard of Pcomm?? It is a public domain telecommunication program for Unix designed to operate similar to the popular MSDOS program, ProComm. It has an external gateway to provide the kind of capability you're talking about (in addition to xmodem, xmodem-1k, ymodem, and ymodem-g built-in). Pcomm v1.1 appeared in comp.sources.unix as v16i006 thru v16i013 around the second week of Sept 1988. In addition, the source was posted to unix-pc.sources about the same time. There are now 6 offical patches to Pcomm. Emmet P.
