[unix-pc.general] Unix PC boards for sale

jan@bagend.UUCP (Jan Isley) (07/26/89)

Several people have told me that they did not get this so maybe it
did not get out. Sorry if you're looking at this again. I think
I got the distribution wrong the first time.

	EIA $250 each FIRM
DOS 73 $500 each or best offer
Voice Power	$500 each or best offer

EIA BOARDS: These are 0k combo boards. The serial ports have all passed
diagnostics. I have not installed any memory on these to test the RAM
part of the combo. So, I am offering these for sale as EIA boards,
$250 each. If the memory works, well ... that's gravey for you.

DOS 73 BOARDS: I do not have original disks or manuals for these.

VOICE POWER BOARDS: These are the latest revision levels.
I do not have original disk or manuals for these either.

You can call me at home, talk to the machine. I prefer e-mail. Please,
don't call me at work about these unless you have too. I do not want to
mix personal sales with work.

I recently posted a note about a DOS-73 card I was selling. My asking
price was $550. WELL .... I did not get any reasonable offers, i.e.
something close to $550. So, in light of Jan's offer of a number of
DOS-73 boards at $500, I reduce my price to $500 also. But in the
spirt of competition, I contrast my ONE board with Jan's > ONE.

	I will provide the board
Plus, the disk, including the ever popular DOS 3.1 :-)
	Plus, the doucumentation!
	Plus, the original packing materials
Plus, an official at&t list of compatible dos applications
Plus, an official ag&t list of uncompatible dos applications

WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR 500 DOLLARS - a ginsu knife maybe?

Really, I do have a card available for sale. If you are considering
adding DOS compatiblity to your 3b1/7300, consider my slightly used
DOS-73 board.

How much for the ginsu? Is it a real ginsu, I mean is it Japanese ginsu
or a Sears ginsu?
