I just added a long closeted 7300 to my collection of these little marvels. It boots up properly (with the 3 O.S.), but it refuses to recognize the diagnostic disk if I boot up with it in the drive. The light comes on (but no one is home as the old saying goes). Popping the back reveals, 2 fans and a floppy drive which is properly plugged in and which is now clean. That exhausts my repair abilities. I did not pay much attention to several discussions on the floppy drives which has passed by in the past. I would appreciate it if someone would advise on what specs I should ask for in trying to get a replacement floppy drive. -- R. K.
