The Kitchener-Waterloo Eight Sixteen Thirty-two (KWEST) Atari user group will be devoting most of the March ST meeting to MIDI topics. For this month only, we will be gathering on the third Wednesday of the month (March 20th) instead of the usual second Wednesday. The MIDI presentation will cover the following: - What is MIDI? - MIDI music for the serious musician, and - MIDI for the home computer user. In other words there is something of interest for almost everyone. There will be a MIDI freeware/shareware disk available, as well as a number of pre-recorded tapes of electronic music for sale. Our newsletter "The Hard Copy" will also contain several MIDI articles. Our presentation starts at 7:30pm sharp, in room MC 2009 of the Math and Computer Building at the University of Waterloo. The door opens at 7:00pm. Admission will be (a paltry) $2 for non-members, refundable if you join our (humble) group. Come early and make sure you get a seat...but make sure you are on hand in time for the 7:30 start. For further information, please contact Brian Bentley by email at econadm5@watserv1.uwaterloo.ca, or by voice at 743-6455. Hoping to see you on the 20th...
