Our Department, in conjunction with the campus Computing Center, has a DECsystem-2060 running TOPS 6.1. It would be quite pleasant to be able to run X clients on it like we do on our UNIX boxes. DEC is reportedly working on VMS clients and servers, but since MIT still has some -20s, I thought maybe they had done some experimentation with porting clients to non-UNIX architectures like this. Might this be the case? If so, what is the state of the work? Would it be available for playing with? ------ Bob Sutterfield, Department of Computer and Information Science The Ohio State University; 2036 Neil Ave. Columbus OH USA 43210-1277 bob@ohio-state.{arpa,csnet} or ...!cb{osgd,att}!osu-eddie!bob (614) 292 - 0915 or (614) 292 - 5813
