Ok, ok, I shouldn't have tantalized you guys. Yes, I'm willing to give out the ditroff previewer for personal and educational use. It is still missing a couple of nice features, but I'm sick of hacking it and would rather let someone else take over. To wit, these deficiencies are: curve drawing, forward gotos and alternate window size. There is one important caveat: I cannot supply you with fonts. I mean bitmaps (a.k.a. pixel files). You must arrange to get 80 dpi vfont bitmaps that match the printer bitmaps in the metrics, suitably scaled down, of course. You could, of course, use a different font set and create a different DESC.out file for your screen, but then you might not get the paragraph breaks in the same place. Mail me again if you are still interested. It is small enough to shar and mail to this newsgroup in one message. X is nice that way. Ken PS: Oh yes, it runs under Sun 2.0. I don't think there are more than a couple of Berkeleyisms.
