I am interested in getting a copy of X-windows for use on several computer systems I have access too. However, I don't know exactly how to go about getting a distribution tape. Could somebody please post details or mail them to me if possible? My main questions (to whoever can answer them) are: 1. How much does it cost? 2. What is it's status (ie: copyright, public domain, circulate copies freely... 3. Does it include drivers for any common types of computers or must they be written by the users (I'm mainly interested in drivers for Sun, and VAX machines). 4. Is it of any use on character-only displays? (ie: 80x24 terminals) 5.
