Has anyone out there ported X to an Intel 286 or 386 based machine? Is anyone making it available? Under what OS? If interested in other responses I will be happy to mail you a summary. --dany

Graphical Software Systems (GSS) of Beaverton, OR was showing a port of X to a 386 based machine running XEN*X in the MicroSoft booth at UniForum. Didn't ask what kind of product plans they might have for it, but it seemed like a pretty clear indication that MicroSoft had some interest there.
