This is just a brief plea to people writing X programs that they plan to distribute in source form. *Please* don't assume that your source is going to live in /usr/src/X/<program> and that you can reference include files as ../include/Xlib.h or find bitmaps via ../bitmaps/foo.bitmap; instead, use simple filenames in your source code and take advantage of the compiler's -I flag to locate include files. That will make life much simpler for those of us who keep your programs in, say, /usr/local/src/X/public/<program>.
