We're having a problem with X on our Sun 260c (floating point accelerator, no graphics coprocessor). As the cursor tracks across the screen it occasionally leaves artifacts. The artifacts (pixels cleared to white) seem to appear only in vertical lines eight pixels apart. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any ideas and/or known fixes? HEY! We've been experiencing the same problem too! We are currently running CMU's MACH operating system, so it is likely that the bug is in cgtwo0/pixrect/libsun ... The extra stuff left on the screen is the "x" cursor and this tends to happen very often in the left-hand side of the screen about 16 pixels to 20 pixels in (the horizontal position of the mark left behind varies by about 4 pixels). This also occurs (very rarely) when the cursor is moved too fast. Does anyone else have this problem, too?
