I'm *very* new to the subject of X-Windows, and I'm wondering if some kind soul will help me out. Basically, I'm looking for two things: 1. Reference material which describes the I/F, preferably something with a title like "X-Windows for the Brain-damaged". :-) 2. I am writting a complete X11 Xlib programming manual, and the conceptual material and basic examples are done and currently being reviewed. The whole book must be complete in first draft stage by Sept. 1, but I can give you what I have now in exchange for your comments and copying and postage expenses. I can mail it electronically but then you don't get the pictures...
