[comp.windows.x] Nifty Little X Hacks Wanted

mrose@eddie.MIT.EDU (Martha S. Rose) (07/31/87)

I'm working on a Naive User Interface to Unix, and am soliciting
public-domain X software. The sort of things I want are akin to desk
accessories on the Macintosh, little useful programs that can be
called from the menu or (ideally) from a widget or icon. In
particular, I'm looking for a nice desk calculator program. Users
should be able to click on the buttons or enter text after clicking on
an input line. I've got to pull a whole lot of random stuff together
to make the bare bones of this project work, so I don't have the time
to build niceties like this myself. Here's your chance to be
immortalized! (Actually, that sounds too much like immunized, or some
other painful process. Here's your chance to be famous, for strictly
bounded values of famous!)

Go wild,
mrose
