Can someone tell me why it was considered important for widget creation to possibly accept an existing window, rather than always creating a new widget window? I'm not saying it's a bad idea; I can sort of imagine a rationale for this, but I haven't yet found it compelling. Is this a "why not?" feature or a "gotta have it!" feature?
