Our X V10R4 server running on a Sun 3/160 produces EnterWindow events when the mouse is over a window when it is mapped, but it doesn't produce leavewindow events when the mouse is over a window when it is unmapped. The DEC GPX X11 server I'm running gives me leave window events when the pointer is in a window that has gotten unmapped. I suspect other X11 servers do the right thing as well. -- Charles

X11 does it correctly.
