I am looking into the NeWS client that runs on X10, I should have the the information in a couple of days. From what I was told about this, the NeWS server was an X Window client, Xnest is a X Window server that runs as a client to X, the NeWS server worked in a simular fasion athough the performance was very poor. The reason this code was VAX depenent was due to subtle differences between CPU's and not the display hardware. I took time to explain this in more detail because the interest in the subject seems to be so great. Jon Greenblatt. <pcproj@gymble.umd.edu> (128.8.128.16) <jonnyg@rover.umd.edu> (128.8.2.73)
