Has anybody successfuly compiled X11R1 on the 4.3 release on the IBM RT. I hear that the X11 beta version worked well. I have problems with overlapping windows. When a overlapping window is moved or removed from above another window, things go seriously bonkers. I also have noticed other serious problems durring window creation and deletion. Xrefresh usualy fixes the screen after one of these mishaps. Acis informed me it may be due to differences in the "hc" compiler in the 4.3 release of unix but I got the same exact executable from the hc compiler when I used the hc compiler from the 4.2 tape and recompiled the server.
