A little while ago, someone posted an article advertising an updated version of expire that would, among other things, rebuild the history file. Now I need it. There were supposed to be three files posted to net.sources (two C files and a manual page, I think); however, we only got the manual page here. The other two didn't show up. I am told that our news link, zehntel, doesn't have them either. Could someone send this stuff to me or re-post it to net.sources? In the mean- time, I keep getting log messages saying "Can't install article as net.jokes/1041" because the 1041 file already exists. When I get rid of the 1041 file and remove the many references to it from the history file, the problem simply moves to 1042, etc. Further, all articles received as 104[12] are lost, even tho I removed their id's from the history and would expect to see them the next time I get news.
