Those of you who are after X.11 in the uk can now get it via guest niftp from Imperial College. Host: uk.ac.ic.doc.gould Name: guest Pass: your mail addr binary It is in tar+compress+split format and the filenames are all prefixed by <X11> (and remember the files are binary). Eg: fcp -b -Uguest -Plmjm@doc.ic.ac.uk "<X11>ls-l@uk.ac.ic.doc.gould" ls-l Will get you the directory listing shown below. IT IS BIG!! I MEAN REALLY BIG!!! So plese do not try and grab the files during working hours. To recreate you'll have to do somthing like: cat X* | uncompress | tar xvf - Which will unpack to about 20Meg and they recommend about 50Meg space in total is needed to rebuild it. Please try and get it this way if you want it. If you really must have it on a tape try and get a nearby academic site to grab it off us and get it off them.
