Hi, I don't know if this is the correct place to be sending this request, so I apologize if I am not following correct protocol... I was told to learn Xwindows. Thrown upon me were 2 manuals: Xlib - C Language X Interface, and X Toolkit Library - C Language Interface. Our target machine is a Sun workstation, and we have verion 11 of Xwindows. Which manual is more appropriate for a complete beginner in Xwindows? Is there a "How to..." guide available with simple examples? I'd appreciate any help you could point me towards. Thanks, Alan Foonberg

Hello xperts, I suspect this has been asked before - but I will ask again: Does anyone know of a tool that would allow a Macintosh generated graphic in PICT format to be used in an X program ? I suspect that doing this would be tantamount to writing a QuickDraw interpreter for X ... which would also be a nice thing to know about. So if anyone has leads, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance. David McCallie Children's Hospital 300 LongWood Ave Boston 02115 ...harvard!hscfvax!dpm
