If anyone from GSS is out there here's your cue..... Here I am wanting to develop an application but the turn around time to get a usable machine (for V11) is 60-90 days. What I do have available are Compaq386's with Unix V.3 ala Interactive Systems. I would be interested in the following: 1) X10 boards (and or software) for the 386 available today or sooner 2) X11 for the 386 (even if it's in Beta test form), same time frame as above Mike Powers powers.wbst139@Xerox.com

Yes, GSS is developing X/386 (that's X V11 for the 386). We will be
demonstrating X on Xenix 386 at Unix Expo in SCO's booth. We'll also
be at Comdex demonstrating both Xenix and 5.3 X.
Beta releases are scheduled for January.
The final product will support EGA color, and Hi-Res boards via
our DGIS interface.
