Has anyone ported Xwindows to the Amiga yet? Of course, Amiga has it's own bitmapping display routines and they are likely to be more efficient than generic X (moderate level of assurance here). Ameristar (which makes an ethernet card for the Amiga) has announced support for the X Window System, and there are STRONG rumors that X-11 will be part of Commodore's Workbench release 1.4 (due spring-summer 1988). -- Marco Papa
