I finally got around to removing the typos from the first 3 patch files (uwm.patches.shar.[1-3]) and moving the updated copies into the contrib directory on both zap.mit.edu and hoser.berkeley.edu. ** I've put the first 5 "update" patches there as well and will make sure subsequent updates join them in a timely fashion. For those who came in late (or were completely confused from the start), here's the scoop: 1. These patches are BETA patches to uwm, and still have much evolving to do. They are not blessed my MIT or slated for Release 2 in their current form. To apply: Put the patch files and updates in $TOPDIR/clients. cd to $TOPDIR/clients. Run sh on the first shar file. It will copy your uwm directory to uwm.new and extract a few files into it (uwm.new). Run patch on the next 2 shar files and each of the updates. cd uwm.new and compile.
