[comp.windows.x] Hello World article.

I received the hello-world tutorial from the xstuff distributor, but
it's not clear how to format it. It's also not clear who to ask for
help, I get the impression that xstuff doesn't do support.

I'm not overwhelmingly familiar with nroff/troff, but I ran it through
nroff with no error messages. The resulting output file was poorly
formatted. C program fragments were formatted like paragraphs, and
much of the text, which appeared to be in separate paragraphs in the
source, was all lumped together in one big paragraph in the output.
Finally, most of the output text was underlined.

What am I doing wrong? Can anyone send me a line-printer (or HP LaserJet)
compatible output file?

Thanks to all who responded. I'm posting this in case others had the same
problem. To format the Hello World article for a lineprinter, use:

nroff -ms hw >hw.lpt
