I have been programming with the Toolkit like mad ever since I got home from the conference, sometimes with great success and sometimes wtih great annoyance. Although I have been able to cope with the general lack of docs, the lack of information about the actual existing widgets is starting to get to me. Specifically, I am having trouble getting the text and cascading widgets to not fail miserably. I have had some luck getting a new widget class of my own to at least begin to work, so I am not completely stupid as far as the toolkit is concerned. What I would really appreciate (either e-mailed to me, or posted here, or both) is a piece of code that uses pop-up cascading menus and text widgets in interesting ways. I have learned a great deal from studying some of the clients supplied with the release, but I really need more help. Please, please, please....if you have written a little program that might demonstrate these things to me (and to others!?!) please send me (and post) a copy!! I really appreciate the help!! ---- Dave "mr question" McIntyre | "....say you're thinking about a plate home : 518-276-5842 | of shrimp.....and someone says to office : 518-276-8633 | you `plate,' or `shrimp'......" mcintyre@cs.rpi.edu | Christopher Welty --- Asst.
