42 people attended the Video BOF Session at the Janaury '88 X Conference. A wide ranging discussion took place, concluding with a concensus list of issues/areas of special interest: 1. X Extension for Video / Wideband Graphics. 2. Coordination with Image Processing Extensions 3. Coloring Issues (Color Maps, etc.) 4. Real Time Synchronization and Response (w/Audio, Device Control, etc.) 5. Storage of Video/Compression/Playback. I (Don Zurstadt, Tektronix) agreed to distribute the list of attendees with complete addresses and other contact information to the list of attendees. I will also send the list of Bob Scheifler. Larry Bierma (NPRDC) will create an E-Mail alias for the group named "xvideo". Lester Ludwig (Bellcore) will help organize an X Video Conference in the May-June time frame.
