Recently somebody pointed out that it is easier to post a follow- up article than to mail a reply to an article on USG UNIX. (More specificly, on systems which have /bin/mail as the only mail pro- gram.) This undoubtedly encourages people to post followups more often than they should. Therefore I have posted a shell pro- ceedure to net.sources (spanky.142) which produces a nice "Sub- ject:" line like the followup command does and invokes an editor for entering the text. Unfortunately it will be necessary to build this into readnews to make it handle articles with apostro- phies in the title. Kenneth Almquist
