[comp.windows.x] XWindows in FORTRAN

bpendlet@esunix.UUCP (Bob Pendleton) (03/03/88)

Does there exist a FORTRAN binding for XWindows? If so, where can I find out
about it? If not, how do people call X routines from FORTRAN? I know how to
do that on a VAX/VMS system, but don't have a clue as to how people do it
under UNIX.

Please respond directly to me. If there are any responses I'll summerize
them an post them to the net.

P.S.

Please, no comments about why anyone would WANT to call X from FORTRAN.
Real people have good reasons, i.e. money invested in existing code,
for wanting to do this.
