[comp.windows.x] Need X windows source for Job Security

jack@csccat.UUCP (Jack Hudler) (02/20/88)

The President of the company I work for approched me
and ask if our products could run under X windows..
Well after doing some research on X, I told him.. Maybe..
(I didn't want to put myself out on a limb.. you know)
So with the project that I am on currently winding
down to nothing I was told to find something to do with
X windows or ???. (you understand of course that this was
done very tackfully) As I have been with this company for
7 years I would like to keep my job...

	So... Please... PRETTY PLEASE..

Where the hell do you get the source for X windows!!!!
I read that cis.ohio was going to put it there but
have seen no others.. they (us) will pay for several hours
of long distance.. or should I say they won't know
they are or at least they won't care after source is in hand.

					Thanks in Advance.
					Jack@csccat

Please e-mail or post where they can be found.

To order a distribution, send a CHECK for U.S. $150 to:

	MIT Software Distribution Center
	E32-300
	77 Massachusetts Avenue
	Cambridge, MA 02139
	(617) 253-6966

Purchase orders will NOT be accepted. The distribution will come on a
single 9 track 1600BPI tape written in Unix tar(1) format, along with
a single copy of printed documentation. Other distribution media or
formats are NOT available. Express mail shipment will be available
at a surcharge; you should call the number above if you desire this.

Distributions are also available from "zap.mit.edu" (18.72.0.126) (for
east-coasters) and decwrl.dec.com (26.7.0.16) (for west-coasters) on
the Internet, via anonymous FTP. The east-coast distribution will be
moving soon from 'zap.mit.edu' to 'athena-dist.mit.edu', so if zap is
unavailable you should try there.

Bug reports should be mailed to xbugs@athena.mit.edu. It would be
appreciated if you used the template in doc/bugs/bug-report.
