[comp.windows.x] WYSIWYG ?

fdr@joy.ksr.com (Franklin Reynolds) (03/04/88)

I am in desperate need of word processing tools that will run
on a Sun under X. We are currently using X10 but we will almost
certainly update to X11R2 within a week or two.

Any information about WYSIWYG word processors or outliners that
run on X would be appreciated.

It's not nearly WYSIWYG... But it IS a nice *editor*.

FrameMaker is supposed to come with a X Window System interface. Write
to <frame!comments@sun.uucp>, or use <frame!postmaster@sun.uucp>.

Well, it's not WYSIWYG, but then, it's not really NOT wysiwyg. I believe the
term some people use to describe it is WYSIRN, or What You See Is Really Nice.
Try it and see if it fits your needs.
