Recently, I recall that Paul Lustgarten set up the IH machines to read news articles in a specific (fixed) order (all ih.* and btl.* first, etc.), depending on the newsgroup prefix. ----- Q: Is it possible to allow the user to specify an ordering of newsgroups that readnews will follow to look for new articles (by default, rather than having to use successive "N net.micro.pc", "N net.ai", "N ih.fun&games", etc.)? Not that the "Most Important Now" (MIN) concept has anything to do with netnews, but I thought I might ask ...
