Using Xlib graphics calls, I am trying to draw stuff on the VPort widget. I have no problem in drawing. However, when I scroll the graphics outside the boundary of the viewport and scroll it back inside, all the graphics is erased. Similarly, when I hide the viewport under another window (or a menu) and pop it back up again, the graphics (which was hidden by the other window) goes away. In other words, the VPort doesn't retain the graphics information and so it does not refresh it, when needed.
