While glancing through the APL 88 proceedings, I saw this in the very first paper: AP207 X-Windows protocol coprocessor (Don't flame me about the name, I'm quoting verbatim :-)). Anybody know anything about this? What does it do? Simple bitblt support? Kitchen sink? Does that mean the likes of Motorola, NSC and TI might come out with X support chips? My my, so many questions.
