I would like to try to help to clear up any misunderstandings to which a previous posting by me may have contributed. I said "... and V11R2 was to fix up protocol problems that previously had been `down in the noise'". As Jim Fulton and Robert Scheifler have pointed out, V11R1 to V11R2 was **NOT** a protocol change (like V10 to V11); I should have said "fix the implementation of the protocol (in the servers) to reduce performanace bottlenecks which had not been noticeable prior to the shift to the faster V11 protocol.
