Save under and backing store don't work properly on our machines, so
we're trying to fake it with XGetImage and XPutImage. XGetImage seems
to work fine, grabbing whatever is displayed over (not necessarily in)
the specified drawable region. XPutImage, on the other hand, writes
only to the specified drawable, clipping out areas where the drawable
is hidden behind other windows. Is this a bug or a feature? Seems to
me that either XGetImage or XPutImage is broken. If it is a feature,
is there a way around it? We would like to just blast an image to the
screen (giving root window coordinates), without regard for existing
windows.
