lubich@ethz.UUCP (Hannes Lubich) (04/28/88)

I tried to use the X.V10R4 xdvi TeX previewer and got the following
response back:

cmbx10.2160pxl [not found]
cmbx12.1500pxl [not found]
cmbx10.1643pxl [not found]
cmti10.1643pxl [not found]
cmsy10.1643pxl [not found]
cmr10.1643pxl [not found]
xdvi: Not all PXL files were found

Can some kind sould mail me those files, please?

Either your site doesn't have those sizes and magnifications, or (more
likely) your site uses pk fonts and your xdvi doesn't read pk fonts. I
have noted the pk equivalents in your posting. There was a pk version
of xdvi around, but I threw mine out now that we have X11 and texx.

I'd love to change to X.11 but as I already pointed out, I couldn't get
it up to now. I just received a copy of a pk version of xdvi and will
check it today.

Thanks, anyway
