[comp.windows.x] PEX design documents

RWS@ZERMATT.LCS.MIT.EDU (Robert Scheifler) (05/05/88)

PEX is a 3D graphics protocol extension designed to provide efficient
support for PHIGS and PHIGS+ in X.

The PEX Architecture and Implementation Teams have announced the
availability of revised versions of the PEX documents (i.e., revised
from what appeared in V11R2). These are available via anonymous ftp on
expo.lcs.mit.edu (18.30.0.212) in /pub/PEX/doc/. Most of the output
files are also available on decwrl.dec.com.

Interested parties without ftp access or reasonable printers can obtain
a hardcopy version directly from the X Consortium at no charge. Please
make sure no one else at your site has requested a hardcopy version
before sending in your order; we can't print infinite quantities. Send
your request to
